Mission
To assure leadership of the global electronics manufacturing supply chain.
Overview
Founded in 1994, the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI) is an industry-led consortium made up of more than 60 electronics manufacturers, suppliers, associations, government agencies and universities. iNEMI roadmaps the needs of the global electronics industry and ensures competitiveness through development of industry infrastructure, accelerated deployment of new technologies, dissemination of efficient business practices and stimulation of standards. The consortium also works with government, universities and other funding agencies to set priorities for future industry needs and R&D initiatives.
Offices
iNEMI is a "virtual consortium" with a small support staff of five people based in Herndon, Virginia. All projects are managed by the participating organizations, and all work is done at the participants' facilities and by their respective staffs.
