The iNEMI Research Committee is a subcommittee of the Technical Committee.  Its role is to stimulate research that will address gaps identified by iNEMI roadmaps and, for those efforts requiring fundamental R&D, work with government agencies, universities, and other consortia to ensure that the work is properly funded and undertaken.  This group is responsible for organizing and publishing the iNEMI Research Priorities, presenting those priorities to research institutes and funding organizations, identifying funding opportunities, monitoring industry progress toward roadmap goals, and monitoring progress in nanotechnology research.
