The Technical Committee (TC) develops and integrates iNEMI's technology strategies plus plans, facilitates and coordinates the consortium's technical activities. Working with the Technology Integration Groups (TIGs), the Technical Committee develops iNEMI's Technical Plan, which outlines the needs and drivers of each implementation project and conveys the strategy, structure and status of each. The group also works with the Technology Working Groups (TWGs) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the roadmap.

The TC is currently comprised of 13 participating and affiliate members plus the Vice President of Operations. The Technical Committee reports to the Board of Directors, and its co-chairs are ex-officio members of the Board.
