The IPC Product Data eXchange (PDX) suite of standards will be revised, updated and expanded to address areas of improvement and provide additional capabilities to meet user needs.

Enhancements in version 2.0 will:

• Expand bill of material (BoM) information
• cost data
• environmental attributes (materials content, power consumption)
• Provide role-based access
• Allow views and generation of PDX packages from multiple production sites
• Support archival data
