Over the past 20 years, Dick Otte has played a crucial role
in shaping industry roadmaps, fostering collaboration, and driving technical
advancements in optoelectronics and interconnect technologies. As chair of the INEMI
Optoelectronics Technology Working Group (TWG) and a member of the INEMI
Roadmap Advisory Group, his leadership has guided critical roadmap development
efforts, influencing industry-wide best practices and improving engagement
strategies.
Beyond INEMI, Dick has contributed to global roadmapping
initiatives — serving on IPSR, ITRS, IRDS, and IPC committees — and helping to
ensure alignment across the electronics manufacturing ecosystem. His
contributions have strengthened technical excellence, industry collaboration,
and roadmap accessibility, leaving a lasting impact on the electronics
industry.
