For more than 20 years, Linda was program manager and managing editor for the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors (ITRS). She was a critical part of the committee to transform the national roadmap effort into the first international industry roadmap. In addition, she oversaw the international meetings as well as public conferences held annually to develop and present this industry forecast. (The ITRS global industry roadmapping effort included the regions of Europe, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the United States.)
In addition to her work with the ITRS, Linda successfully led an initiative to produce the CIGS (copper indium gallium di-selenide) Photovoltaic Roadmap, working with industry leaders and the Photovoltaic Manufacturing Consortium (PVMC). She also served on the executive organizing committee for the International Nanotechnology Conference for Collaboration and Communication, sponsored in part by NSF, with related organizations in Europe and Japan for almost 10 years.
Before joining International SEMATECH, Linda was sole owner of a successful technical publishing company. She worked at Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC) from 1985 through 1987, and from 1975 through 1986 attained a broad background at Mostek, Inc. in the semiconductor industry with assignments in manufacturing operations, process engineering and R&D, and consortial research activities.
Linda is an expert on roadmap processes and international collaboration, having worked with various industries, universities, and other organizations, such as the National Academy of Sciences, MIT business school, George Mason University, iNEMI and the Department of Energy. Linda serves as a roadmap consultant for the IEEE Future Directions roadmap efforts for the International Roadmap for Devices and Systems and 5G and Beyond, strengthening the historic synergy of these roadmap initiatives with iNEMI.
She graduated from St. Edwards University (Austin, Texas) with a B.A. in English.
