Abstract
 
Smart manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 as it is sometimes called, is transforming electronics manufacturing on the factory floor, within the enterprise and across the supply chain ecosystem. This presentation will explore some of the current and future drivers and challenges behind that transformation and the likely implications for electronics generally and for power electronics in particular.
