iNEMI Webinar to Discuss Progress Toward Reducing HFRs and PVC in the Supply Chain

Herndon, Virginia, USA — July 7, 2011 — The International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI) is hosting a webinar to review the consortium’s progress to date on efforts to reduce halogenated flame-retardants (HFRs) and polyvinylchloride (PVC) in the electronics manufacturing supply chain. Scheduled for Monday, August 1, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, the webinar will feature speakers from Dell, IBM, Intel and TE Connectivity (see table for speakers and topics).

“iNEMI has several projects focused on reducing the use of HFRs and PVC in electronics products,” said iNEMI CEO Bill Bader. “We will use this webinar to report on our progress to date, and to talk about ‘next steps’ and additional work that remains to be done.”
