iNEMI Early Registration Deadline is Approaching for the Symposium on Global ICT Environmental Initiatives
HERNDON, VIRGINIA (September 2, 2009) — Anyone planning to participate in the Symposium on Global ICT* Environmental Initiatives can take advantage of the discounted registration fee through September 11. The event, sponsored by iNEMI (International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative) and Intel Corporation, is scheduled for 27-28 October in Brussels.
Keynote speakers for the symposium are Don Whiteside, Vice President, Legal & Corporate Affairs and Director, Global Public Policy for Intel, and a representative from Nokia. Other speakers include:

- European Commission: Eric Liégeois, Policy Officer, DG Enterprise and Industry

Registration
The registration fee for participants who sign up by 11 September is 400 USD (~285€), payable by credit card or wire transfer. After 11 September, the fee is increased to 500 USD (~355€). The symposium will be held at Le Méridien Brussels (Carrefour de l'Europe 3, located across the street from Central Station). Rooms are available for meeting participants at a special rate of 199€ per night for reservations made before 24 October.
