How to Get Involved with the iNEMI Roadmap
Industry and research experts representing all aspects of the global electronics manufacturing supply chain contribute to the roadmap. iNEMI membership is not required to be involved. The iNEMI Roadmap is a global collaborative effort that involves many individuals who are leading experts in their respective fields within the electronics manufacturing supply chain. The roadmap’s usefulness reaches far beyond iNEMI and our members. It is recognized by industry and research communities as an important tool for defining the “state of the art” in the electronics industry as well as identifying emerging and disruptive technologies. It is used by electronics manufacturing companies, government funding agencies and university research programs to help prioritize R&D efforts for the greatest returns.
Content Contribution
Focused “topic teams” are composed of experts from OEMs, EMS providers, ODMs and OSATs, suppliers, government agencies, universities, and related consortia/trade associations. Each topic provides details of where its respective technology stands today — and is expected to progress over the next 10 years — with respect to the stated needs. These focused topics predict the evolution of technology and/or business practices, identify gaps and “showstoppers” in existing technology and infrastructure, and develop recommendations for their respective areas.Benefits of Participation
- Drive the industry’s evolution over the 10-year timespan of the iNEMI Roadmap. Ensure your organization’s needs are represented.
- Collaborate with, and potentially lead, an international group of contributors. Build a network of valuable contacts.
- Gain in-depth insights into emerging technologies and product areas from other experts in a given topic area. Obtain an early first look at the roadmap content as it is being finalized.
