Mark Schaffer, Project Manager

Mark Schaffer is an experienced electronics industry engineer and consultant providing technical project management with iNEMI.  His initial engagement with iNEMI was as a member representative from Dell where he served as part of the Environmental Technology Integration Group (TIG) in 2006.  In addition to his work with iNEMI, he is the owner and primary consultant for Schaffer Environmental LLC.  Schaffer Environmental provides leading supply chain, environmental and sustainability consulting, advisory and project management services to organizations around the world

Mr. Schaffer has more than 15 years of hands-on electronic industry compliance and regulatory development engagements to apply real world experiences to existing and emerging environmental trends.  He served on the Board of Advisors for the Green Electronics Council from 2006 to 2008 and continues to work with them to develop their compliance training program.  Prior to founding Schaffer Environmental, Mr. Schaffer worked for IBM, NASA, Canon, Dell and Supply Chain Consulting in a variety of engineering and environmental positions.   

Mr. Schaffer received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1993.
